Failure of Imran Khan’s govt & mismanagement has become source of defame & embracement for the establishment: Liaqat Baloch


LAHORE, Jan 15 (SABAH): Liaquat Baloch, Deputy Emir of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan, President Political Affairs Committee has said that the failure of Imran Khan’s government and mismanagement has become source of defame and embracement for the establishment. He said that the experiment and formula of controlled democracy, elections and selected ruler has failed. He said that right of masses regarding fair and merit based elections could become the guarantor of Pakistan’s development and stability.

While addressing a meeting Liaqat Baloch said that national security policy will be the one which will be agreed upon by whole national and parliamentary leadership. He said that Prime Minister Imran Khan himself is hurdle in the consensus national security policy. He said that formation of policy on national security is not enough. He said that national consensus, economic strategy based on self reliance and transparent and impartial elections are necessary. He said that worst conditions of the IMF in the hands of the irresponsible rulers have become threat for the nuclear capability.

Liaqat Baloch said that PML-N, PPP and PTI did not gave empowered local government system to masses according to the constitution, adding that with the government and state power the masses have been deprived of their citizen rights and local government representatives have been made paralyzed. He said that from last 16 days the people of Karachi are protesting against the local government’s black law introduced through amendments in local government act but the government which claims democracy and traditions in Sindh has adopted dictatorial and non-democratic attitude.

Liaqat Baloch said that Bilawal Bhutto Zardari should carryout long march against the federal government but should also stop Sindh government from confiscating the citizen rights, adding that Karachi is a mega city and mega powers should be given to Karachi. He said that Sindh government has failed to resolve the problems of Karachi. He said that masses protest and sit-in in Gwadar and Karachi has defined the direction of the national politics, adding that JI is the strong voice and spokesperson for the resolution of the problems of people. He said that protests will be held in whole country for ensuring the rights of the masses, adding that JI will play decisive role for getting rid of the anti-masses government and threat for the national security.
