Fabricated allegations promoted by some Western media outlets, which adopt the Zionist narrative, are false: Hamas Spokesperson

GAZA, Oct 12 (SABAH): The Islamic Resistance Movement – Hamas has affirmed categorically that the fabricated allegations promoted by some Western media outlets, which adopt the Zionist narrative, are false, the latest of which is the claim of killing children, beheadings, and targeting civilians.

The Spokesperson of the Islamic Resistance Movement – Hamas, in a statement said that Hamas confirms that Al-Qassam Brigades and the resistance targeted the military outposts and security systems, which are legitimate targets, and the video clips from the field and dozens of testimonies of settlers are confirming that we are avoiding harming civilians and children.

The spokesperson said that to date, the occupation has killed 1055 Palestinian civilians, including more than 300 children and 200 women, and injured 5150 civilians, including more than 1200 children and 1000 women, and has killed and injured dozens of medical personnel, by bombing them with internationally prohibited bombs.  Dozens of citizens, including children, women and the elderly, are dying in the meantime under the rubble of thousands of destroyed buildings, and civilians are still being systematically targeted. The occupation has also cut off electricity and water and had prevented food supplies from reaching the population.

The occupation is practicing genocide against our people, while some countries -unfortunately- are adopting false and incorrect Zionist narratives, ignoring the facts which are broadcasted live on TV.

The Hamas spokesperson said that the Zionist occupation has enacted criminal laws to allow killing prisoners and the individuals who captured them- The Hannibal Directive – which was practiced by the occupation in August 2014 when it killed more than 300 citizens, and it is practicing it now using a scorched earth policy with the aim of killing prisoners.

Hamas Movement has called on the world to stand up to its responsibilities, restrain the Israeli occupation from targeting civilians, and stand with our people who is seeking to get rid of the most hideous occupation the world has ever known, instead of adopting its false and incorrect narratives.
