Every Muslim should play role of preacher to implement system introduced by the Holy Quran: Amirul Azeem

LAHORE, March 28 (SABAH): Secretary General Jamaat-e-Islami Amirul Azeem has said that every Muslim should play the role of preacher to implement system introduced by the Holy Quran in the society. He said that Jamaat-e-Islami is struggling for this purpose. 

While addressing an event of dowr-e-Tafseer Quran at Mansoorah, Amirul Azeem said that there is no doubt that reading, understanding, teaching and listening to the Holy Quran is virtue but the great virtue is that we should try to implement the system which was purpose of the life of Hazrat Muhammad (SAWW). He further said this was the purpose for which Quran was descended during 23 years. 

On this occasion, Deputy Secretary General Dr. Hafiz Sajid Anwar and central leader Jamaat-e-Islami Hafiz Muhammad Idrees were also present.

In the early years, Amirul Azeem said that the Holy Prophet (SAWW) prepared himself to fulfill obligations of prophethood. After this, for eight to nine years, he criticized the whole system including society, politics, economy and judiciary. 

Resultantly, he had to face enmity and resistance. In Makkah, he had to face phase of boycott. After a number of stages, the system of Quran was implemented. During the course, phase of safeguarding and spreading its message was introduced, he said, and added then there was phase of wars. 

Today, he said there is need to resort to realities which were introduced by the Holy Quran including its implementation in all circles of life. While being together, we should work to implement the religion as it is a biggest purpose, he said.
