Even if constitutional amendments are approved, political instability will continue: Liaqat Baloch

LAHORE, Sep 19 (SABAH): Naib Emir Liaqat Baloch has said that national political parties are playing games of revenge in the political arena and trampling the constitution and law with parliamentary power. He said even if arbitrary constitutional amendments are approved, political instability will continue, rather anarchy, self-indulgence and frustration among the people will increase.

Addressing the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)’s biography conferences and political consultative meetings in Lahore, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Liaqat Baloch said that Millat-e-Islamia has proved that the Messenger of Allah is for the entire Ummah by expressing love and devotion to Khatam-ul-Anbiya Hazrat Muhammad on 12th of Rabi-ul-Awwal. After the oneness of Allah he is the center and axis.

He said the ideal system of welfare, peace and love of Islam has to be implemented, not only through words, but through good deeds and following the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)’s instructions to achieve greatness and dignity.

Western civilization, secularism, biased nationalism, and the system of supremacy of men over men has failed, he said and added western capitalism and the scourge of interest has become the bane of life for the common man. He said the dreams of stability and development can be fulfilled in Pakistan with the imposition of Islamic code of life, abolition of interest based system and the implementation of the decision of the Federal Shariah Court and the constitution and independent judiciary. To subjugate the people by force, power and lawlessness is disbelief and cruelty, he added.

Liaqat Baloch while answering the questions and talking to the journalists said that the people are worried about electricity, taxes, inflation and trade and industrial wheels jamming and are disappointed with their life and future. The national political parties are playing the games of taking revenge on the political arena and trampling the constitution and law with parliamentary power, ignoring the public issues.

He said the Jamaat-e-Islami condemns this attitude of the government and political leadership and surrendering to each other’s blackmailing and passing arbitrary legislation and constitutional amendments. Disappointment will increase further, the only remedy for the country’s political crises is to have a national dialogue, he added.
