Entire nation is united to end the scourge of terrorism: PM Shehbaz

ISLAMABAD, July 30 (SABAH): Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Sunday telephoned Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) Chief and Ameer Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazal (JUI–F) Maulana Fazlur Rehman, and Federal Minister for Communications Maulana Asad Mehmood.

Speaking on the occasion, the Prime Minister expressed deep grief and condolences over blast at JUI-F workers’ convention in Khar area of Bajaur district.  The Prime Minister said the criminals involved in the incident will be punished, adding that entire nation is united to end the scourge of terrorism.

Expressing heartfelt sympathies with the bereaved families, the Prime Minister prayed for the higher ranks of the martyrs, courage for the families and speedy recovery of the injured.

PM Shehbaz Sharif also telephoned his Chief Secretary and IG Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and directed them to provide the best medical treatment to the injured. The Prime Minister directed the authorities concerned to transfer critically-injured persons to other hospitals through helicopter.

PM Shehbaz Sharif also passed the direction for investigating the incident and taking strict action against the elements involved in the incident.
