Enemy wants to harm the national integration by creating unrest in the country: Mohsin Naqvi


ISLAMABAD, Sep 04 (SABAH): Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi says consultation will be made with the religious scholars of all schools of thoughts to evolve an effective narrative in the war against terrorism.

Talking to Chairman Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Maulana Syed Muhammad Abdul Khabeer Azad in Islamabad on Wednesday, Mohsin Naqvi said that a nationwide campaign of consultation with Ulema will be started soon as they always played their due role in the national development.

The Minister stressed religious scholars to play a prolific role to eliminate the menace of terrorism from the country.

He said that Ulema guided the nation in the war against terrorism earlier and it is still needed. Mohsin Naqvi said terrorists have no religion and enemy wants to harm the national integration by creating unrest in the country. He vowed to foil the nefarious agenda of enemy with collective efforts.

Matters related to the steps for establishing peace and elimination of terrorism and sectarianism, promotion of inter-faith harmony and brotherhood also came under discussion during the meeting.

In his remarks, Maulana Abdul Khabeer Azad said that entire nation stands by its valiant armed forces and security institutions for the elimination of terrorism and extremism.

He also commended the efforts and services of Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi for establishing peace in the country.
