Enemies of Pakistan want to destabilize the country politically, economically & socially: Ahsan Iqbal

NAROWAL, Sep 22 (SABAH): Minister for Planning, Development and Special Initiatives Ahsan Iqbal Chaudhry says political and military leadership will resist any conspiracy to destabilize the country.

Speaking at a ceremony in Zafarwal area of Narowalon Sunday, Ahsan Iqbal said enemies of Pakistan want to destabilize the country politically, economically and socially.

He raised concerns about an ongoing international media campaign supporting PTI founder. The Minister said a prominent Israeli journal, the Jerusalem Post, has published the third article favoring PTI founder. He said this series of articles was part of a larger campaign orchestrated by pro-Israel and Zionist lobbies to promote PTI founder.

Ahsan Iqbal said PTI had previously staged a sit-in to sabotage visit of the Chinese President to Pakistan and now PTI is organizing protests again forthcoming Shanghai Cooperation Organization conference.

Ahsan Iqbal said that Pakistan is weakened by carrying out worst kind of propaganda against the institutions. He said that Imran Khan’s public gatherings and sit-ins are an effort to sabotage the CPEC. He said that Pakistan’s military and political leadership will not allow anyone to play with the future of the country.

Ahsan Iqbal paid tribute to the people of Punjab and Pakistan for not participating in the public gathering of PTI. He said that Pakistan is in the safe hands, adding that Pakistan’s military and political leadership will not allow playing with the future of the country.
