ECP continuously making efforts for holding free, fair & impartial elections in the country: CEC Sikandar Sultan Raja
OKARA, July 15 (SABAH): Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Dr. Sikandar Sultan Raja has said that Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) is continuously making efforts for holding free, fair and impartial elections in the country and is taking all out steps for improving the standard of service to the masses.
CEC Dr. Sikandar Sultan Raja inaugurated the newly constructed office of the District Election Commissioner in Okara. The construction of the District Election Commissioner office Okara was completed within the stipulated time. CEC inaugurated the building and visited the whole building. CEC expressed satisfaction at the standard of the construction work. Chief Election Commissioner Sikandar Sultan Raja on the occasion congratulated provincial election commissioner Ijaz Anwar Chohan, regional election commissioner Sahiwal Syed Basit Ali, District Election Commissioner Okara Muhammad Shafiq, election officer Qamar Hasnain and XEN of PWD Mudasar Asghar and Zahid Kamran for timely completing the construction project.
CEC Dr. Sikandar Sultan Raja said this step is part of our efforts to strengthen the confidence of masses and improve the electoral process, adding that through this good step the people of Okara will enjoy better facilities. He said that in newly constructed office, latest infrastructure, high quality communication systems and best file management system has been installed, which will make all the processes of election more effective. He said that all other requirements have been fulfilled in the office regarding provision of facilities to the people.
CEC Dr. Sikandar Sultan Raja said that this step of the ECP reflects that it is making continuous efforts for holding free, fair and impartial elections in the country and is taking all out steps for improving the standard of service to the masses.
