Economic future bleak under the rule of current government: Imran

ISLAMABAD, June 28 (SABAH): Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has said on Tuesday that the economic future of Pakistan is bleak under the rule of the current government.

While talking during a party meeting here, former prime minister said that the group of thieves has come unprepared and tried to cover up their wrongdoings.

He said when PTI came into power; the country was on verge of bankruptcy, adding despite the International Monetary Fund’s (IMF) pressure and affects of COVID-19, PTI did not let the inflation affect common people.

Attacking the current government, he said that after nine weeks the “imported puppets” have taken revenge from people in form of inflation.

Imran said that he had warned that the PTI government strengthened the economy after hard work and political crisis could have damaged it. He said that transparent elections are the need of the hour to protect Pakistan from further harm.
