Dr. Fowzia Siddiqui meets Dr. Aafia Siddiqui also on second day, after meeting she was kept in meeting room for more than one hour

KARACHI/TAXAS, June 03 (SABAH): Aafia Movement Spokesman Muhammad Ayub on Monday said that Dr. Fowzia Siddiqui also met her sister Dr. Aafia Siddiqui in FMC Carswell prison on the second day as per schedule with a glass wall between them.

He said after the meeting the jail officials took Aafia Siddiqui away but Dr. Fowzia Siddiqui was kept in the meeting room for some time.

As mobile phone, even tissue papers and water bottle, was not allowed in the meeting room, Dr. Fowzia could not correctly assess for how long she was confined in the meeting room.

The American lawyer of Aafia Siddiqui, Clive Stafford Smith in his tweets wrote about this incident: I’ve now waited 1hr3mins for Fowzia to emerge from FMC Carswell the guard inside has no idea what the delay is…

Today’s Shambles at #FMCCarswell: having taken #Aafia out in tears at the end of the visit, they forgot about @FowziaSiddiqui & left her locked up there counting the wall tiles for more than an hour…

SoI will take @FowziaSiddiqui back to see Aafia in the morning. Please think positive thoughts: it is not easy to see your little sibling in the horrendous conditions of FMC Carswell any more than it is for Aafia to exist in those conditions.

However, spokesman Muhammad Ayub said when they create so much trouble in meeting of Dr Fowzia with her sister, the nation could easily think about the obstructions in her release.

He said Dr. Fowzia Siddiqui would return back home next week and the nation about the details of her painful visit and announce the next line of action of Aafia Movement.

However, Dr. Fowzia has said that due to the prayers of the nation this difficult day was finally spent. This whole visit has remained painful. They create daily some obstructions that are painful. They spread rumours about the release of Aafia, but this intelligent and educated daughter of the nation is languishing in jail in a very bad condition. She said she would tell the nation about the details of her visit after reaching home.
