Division on the basis of nationalism is unacceptable: Hafiz Naeemur Rehman

LAHORE, Sep 01 (SABAH): Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Engineer Hafiz Naeemur Rehman has said that by uniting the people we will fight against the oppressive landlords and corrupt capitalists and division on the basis of nationalism is unacceptable. He said that Pakistan does not belong to any general, bureaucrat or politician, the state means neither the army nor the judiciary but the people. The PML-N and PP are in power on the basis of form 47. He noted there is no democracy in these parties but people participate in them on the basis of money.

Hafiz Naeemur Rehman expressed these views while addressing the inauguration of the membership campaign and the joint breakfast at Johar Town, Lahore on Sunday. On this occasion, Secretary General JI Ameerul Azim, Secretary Information JI Qaisar Sharif, Emir JI Lahore Ziauddin Ansari, Naib Emir Punjab Central Waqas Ahmad Butt, Emir Gharbi Lahore Abdul Aziz Abid, Emir Zone Abdul Qayyum Gujjar and other officials were present.

Hafiz Naeemur Rehman said we will fight the case of people of Balochistan in Minar-e- Pakistan, adding together we will continue peaceful political resistance. He said from today, we are starting second phase of Haq Do Awam Ko Movement. He invited all and sundry to become member of Jamaat-e-Islami.

Hafiz Naeemur Rehman said that currently Jamaat-e-Islami is the only one that is representing the people and talking about fundamental rights. He said that service is included in the foundation of Jamaat-e-Islami, but unfortunately, both the government and the opposition have the same agenda wait for your turn and come to power and plunder.

He said that 74% of the youth want to leave the country. Due to inflation and unemployment people are committing suicide. Electricity bills have become bombs, health facilities are not available, education is expensive while employment problems are increasing.

Emir Jamaat-e-Islami said that sitting at home in despair is not a solution to the problems, nothing like this will be achieved, the struggle has already begun. He said that they will talk to students, youth, women, workers and farmers until they get their rights. From the establishment of Pakistan till today, Jamaat-e-Islami has been standing in the field, be it service work or youth training, earthquake or flood, ideological or geographical battle, we have made sacrifices at all times.
