Directionless politics distorting already volatile environment: Liaqat Baloch

LAHORE, May 2 (SABAH): Naib Emir Jamaat-e-Islami and former parliamentary leader, Liaqat Baloch has stated that directionless politics has exacerbated the environment further due to which people are feeling ‘ill at ease.’

While addressing the inauguration ceremony of Dastak Drive on Tuesday, Liaqat Baloch stressed upon the ruling regime as well as Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to resort to solution of political crises instead of indulging in intricacies like as to how to dodge the apex court.

He said that people were worried over prevailing environment, failures of political systems, financial crisis and barbaric acts inflicted upon them by the ruling classes and added that popular and directionless politics has exacerbated the environment further.

“Jamaat-e-Islami’s workers will train the masses for an Islamic welfare and pro-development revolution by paying visits to each and every home, shop, tea shop, bus station and railway station. People enjoy the right to vote. A vigorous struggle is required for selection of an able and honest leadership through the objective use of power of vote,” Liaqat Baloch remarked.

Unfair, selfish and corrupt system continuing for 75 years gave birth to uncertainty, lack of confidence, suspicions and sensational trends in the society, he deplored. He urged the workers of Jamaat-e-Islami to knock the doors of homes with a view of bringing national reforms.

Liaqat Baloch said that people were waiting for the message of wellbeing. He also urged the government and PTI to make the political dialogue process a success as retaliatory actions and threats will make the political situation further worse. He stressed upon them to resort to solution of political crises instead deceiving the apex court.
