Diaspora in the Europe, especially British Kashmiris urges AJK PM Chaudhry Anwarul Haq to lead in momentum against G20 in IIOJK
BIRMINGHAM, May 20 (SABAH): Diaspora in the Europe, especially British Kashmiris, have called on the Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) government to lead momentum against Indian nefarious designs behind holding G20 meeting in Indian Illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIoJK).
In an open letter to Azad Jammu and Kashmir Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwarul Haq, the British Kashmiris have sought immediate attention of the government in freed part of Jammu and Kashmir territory towards suffering of people in IIoJK.
Raja Fahim Kayani, President Tehreek-e-Kashmir UK, in a communication to AJK PMO has lauded Chaudhry Anwarul Haq’s focus on ending suffering of the people of IIoJK. “Prioritizing end of illegal occupation of Kashmir in your administration is a welcome step,” Kayani told Haq in the letter.
Pointing out how India has misled international community, particularly G20 member nations, on Kashmir, Kayani said: “holding G20 tourism-related event in IIoJK between 22 May to 24 May is an attempt by fascist Modi government to get clean chit from G20 countries for its illegal and unilateral actions taken on 5th August in 2019.”
“This step by Indian government brings to fore important role of the AJK government,” said Kayani in the letter, addressing Haq.
“It is now important to expose Indian agenda under the cover of G20 meeting in IIoJK.”
“Kashmiri diaspora, especially British Kashmiris, have high expectations from the AJK government under your leadership to take lead and expose India’s nefarious designs against Kashmiris,” said Tehreek-e-Kashmir UK president.
Raja Fahim Kayani urged Haq-led government to move a resolution in the AJK Legislative Assembly against this G20 meeting being held in IIoJK.
He said AJK government should initiate communication with the G20 members besides the UN and the OIC against Indian nefarious designs.
“A special envoy should be appointed by AJK government who will visit all G20 embassies in Islamabad to convey to them displeasure and opposition of Kashmiris against such a meeting in IIoJK,” said Kayani.
“Submitting a memorandum against G20 meeting in IIoJK to UN observer office in Muzaffarabad is also important while inviting All Parties Hurriyat Conference leadership for a special meeting will lead to overall mobilization against Indian designs against Kashmiris,” the letter, dispatched by Tehreek-e-Kashmir UK president, to AJK PMO read.
