DFP aghast over custodial killing of three Kashmiri civilians in Poonch

SRINAGAR, Dec 25 (SABAH): Jammu Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) has strongly condemned the custodial killing of three Kashmiri civilians in Baffliaz area of Poonch district of the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

In a statement issued on Monday, the DFP Spokesman, Advocate Arshad Iqbal, while terming the incident as a worst example of Indian state terrorism, said that slain civilians were subjected to third degree torture at a military camp by the Indian occupation Army.

He said that video clip of the Indian personnel torturing Kashmiri youth speaks volumes about the beastly and inhumane treatment Kashmiris were being subjected to. He said the custodial killing serves as an eye opener for the world that has been watching the situation in Kashmir like a silent spectator.

Demanding an independent probe into the incident, the spokesman appealed the world community to play its much needed role to help stop the bloodbath of innocent Kashmiris and holding India accountable for the war crimes its forces have been committing against the Kashmiris.

Reiterating his party’s call for an early and amicable settlement of the Kashmiri dispute, he said that such tragic incidents would continue to occur in the region unless the lingering dispute was settled in line with the UNSC resolutions.
