Demise of senior journalist Muhammad Ziauddin marks the end of an era of unbiased & responsible journalism: Bilawal
KARACHI/ISLAMABAD, Nov 29 (SABAH): Pakistan People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has expressed deep sorrow over the demise of senior journalist and well known columnist Muhammad Ziauddin.
According to a statement issued on Monday, the PPP chairman in his condolence message stated that the demise of the late Muhammad Ziauddin marked the end of an era of unbiased and responsible journalism in Pakistan. He had always stood up for the rights of the people through his words and advocated for democracy, he added.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that the vacuum created by the demise of a fearless journalist like the late Muhammad Ziauddin was unbearable. He further stated that the valuable services rendered in the field of journalism by him will forever be remembered.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari prayed for the late Muhammad Ziauddin to be granted the highest place in Jannah . While expressing condolences to the family of the deceased, he also prayed for their patience to be able to get through this tragic time.
