Delegation comprising senior academics, Vice-chancellors of leading universities of African Muslim countries visits Federal Shariat Court

ISLAMABAD, Dec 11, (SABAH): Delegation comprising senior academics, Vice-chancellors of leading universities of African Muslim countries visited Federal Shariat Court (FSC).

Chief Justice FSC Dr. Syed Muhammad Anwer, welcomed the participants and said that their visit will enhance the relationship of Pakistan with other Muslim countries.

The objective of the delegation visit was to familiarize members of academia, to FSC a unique Court of Muslim world. Visit provided delegation an opportunity to learn first-hand about working of the FSC.

During the visit, delegation received briefing from Research department regarding the role of Federal Shariat Court in islamization of laws and its importance in the legal system of Pakistan. Delegation interacted with officers and staff of the Court.

The head of delegation expressed his views regarding the FSC and thanked the Honorable Chief Justice for inviting them to the Federal Shariat Court. The FSC Chief Justice Dr. Syed Muhammad Anwer also presented gifts to the distinguished guests.
