Decisions about political situation of Punjab will be decided after consultations with all concerned stakeholders: PM Imran Khan 


LAHORE, Mar 10 (SABAH): Prime Minister Imran Khan says the government is stable and confident on the political front.

He was talking with Punjab Governor, Chaudhary Muhammad Sarwar and Punjab Chief Minister, Sardar Usman Ahmed Khan Buzdar who called on him in Lahore on Thursday.

Imran Khan said that the first and important phase is Islamabad on political ground. He further stated that decisions about the political situation of Punjab will be decided after consultations with all concerned stakeholders.

On the occasion, matters pertaining to the political situation of the country, ongoing developmental projects and administrative matters of the province were also discussed.

Meanwhile Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that record development projects have been initiated in Punjab for the first time in country’s history.

Talking to PTI leaders Sardar Asif Nakai and Syed Samsam Ali Shah Bukhari in Lahore on Thursday, he said backward areas were neglected in the past and development of these areas is the top priority of the incumbent government.

During the meeting, the overall political situation of the province and on-going development projects in concerned ministries were discussed.
