Dar instructs authorities to implement exceptional security measures for annual Urs at Hazrat Bari Imam’s shrine
ISLAMABAD, July 25 (SABAH): The Development and Management Committee of Hazrat Bari Imam Complex, chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar, decided on Thursday to organize the annual Urs at Hazrat Bari Imam’s shrine from August 15 to 17.
Ishaq Dar instructed the authorities to implement exceptional security measures for the annual Urs celebrations and to ensure optimal facilities for devotees arriving from various parts of the country and abroad.
The Deputy Prime Minister also directed to make special arrangements at the Bari Imam Complex for women devotees attending the Urs celebrations, aiming to ensure their seamless experience throughout the event.
The meeting was attended by committee members such as the custodian of Bari Imam Shrine, Raja Sarfraz Akram, along with Sohail Iqbal Bhatti, Gohar Zahid Malik, and Inam Rabbani, Chief Commissioner Islamabad, Chairman CDA Muhammad Ali Randwaha, Deputy Commissioner Irfan Memon, officials from the Ministry of Interior, and others.
