Constructive & promising round of indirect talks with US Special Envoy Steve Witkoff held in Oman: Iranian FM Seyed Abbas Araghchi

Says both sides decided to continue the process in a matter of days

TEHRAN, April 13 (SABAH): Iranian Foreign Minister Dr. Seyed Abbas Araghchi has said that the constructive and promising round of indirect talks with United States Special Envoy for Middles East Steve Witkoff, kindly hosted and mediated by my brother Omni Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi.

In a statement issued on X, Iranian FM Dr. Seyed Abbas Araghchi said that the talks were conducted in an atmosphere of mutual respect. “I elaborated Iran’s viewpoints in a firm yet forward-looking manner”.

He said that both sides decided to continue the process in a matter of days.
