Constitution of Pakistan guarantees the security & rights of country & nation: Liaqat Baloch

LAHORE, April 07 (SABAH): Deputy Chief of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan, former parliamentary leader Liaqat Baloch while talking to the members of the political committee in Mansurah said that the constitution of Pakistan guarantees the security and rights of the country and the nation. Only the observance of the constitution can protect against the law of the jungle. Jamaat-e-Islami will make every effort to protect the constitution and run the affairs of the state in accordance with the constitution. Whether it is a military dictatorship or a personal dictator to protect their interests, it is the national responsibility of every democratic, conscious citizen and civil society to prevent it. The Supreme Court must play its national constitutional role.

Liaqat Baloch said that the Constitution through its provisions gives protection to formation of a government, no-confidence motion against incompetence of a government, failure of a government and running of the parliament in accordance with democratic values. Imran Khan has lost majority in the National Assembly and the Punjab Assembly. Imran Khan’s style of governing and rhetoric caused frustration in the whole nation and revolt in the ruling party itself. The government cannot impose dictatorship on 220 million people through arbitrary, fictitious selfishness, sinking desires, false scripts and slander, ignoring the fact of its failure, incompetence and losing of the majority.

Liaqat Baloch said that America is the enemy of Pakistan’s security. It is unfortunate that for 75 years, the rulers have been flattering the Americans and showing cowardice towards India. General Pervez Musharraf, Asif Ali Zardari, Mian Nawaz Sharif and Imran Khan piled everything in the footsteps of the United States. To get rid of America’s mental, economic, and defensive slavery, we need a serious national strategy, not a political card. It is a tragedy that the national leadership is not united or unified on national interests and national priorities. Jamaat-e-Islami is a staunch supporter of a national strategy on national interests, national priorities against the anti-Pakistan forces. The national leadership must now realize that the rule of Islam is the solution to our problems.
