Conspiracy of the enemy has been foiled in result of the steps taken by PM Shehbaz: Attaullah Tarar
ISLAMABAD, May 14 (SABAH): Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar Advocate says the federal government has thwarted the wicked designs of anarchic elements through timely redressal of the demand of people of Azad Kashmir. He said that the conspiracy of the enemy has been foiled in result of the steps taken by Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif. He said that the effort was made to create chaos but prime minister called all the stakeholders indiscriminately and heard their views.
Attaullah t Arar was addressing a news conference alongside Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan Amir Muqam outside Parliament House, Islamabad on Tuesday.
The Minister said the resolution of demands regarding subsidy on flour and electricity issue is an example of efficient decision making on the part of government. He said no one will be allowed to create chaos in Azad Kashmir.
Atta Tarar said Kashmir is Pakistan’s jugular vein and Pakistan has raised the matter of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) at every forum.
To a question, the Minister commiserated with the bereaved family of the police personnel martyred during the protest and said the government will support his family.
About the economic situation of the country, Attaullah Tarar said our efforts are yielding fruits as economic indicators are showing improvements with a downward trend in inflation and upward in investment.
The Minister said international reports are signaling a positive trajectory for Pakistan’s economy
Speaking on the occasion, the Minister for Kashmir Affairs thanked Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for timely intervention to solve the issue. He said there were elements who wanted to use the situation for their vested interest and had nothing to do with the grievances of the Kashmiri people. Amir Muqam said the amicable resolution of prices issue is a defeat for such elements and victory for Pakistan and Kashmir.
