Conspiracies could be hatched to sabotage dialogue process; however national leadership should keep the nerves strong: Liaqat Baloch
LAHORE, April 30 (SABAH): Naib Emir Jamaat-e-Islami and former parliamentary leader in the national assembly Liaqat Baloch has said that conspiracies could be hatched to sabotage the dialogue process; however the national leadership should keep the nerves strong.
Liaqat Baloch expressed these views during his conversations with different delegations at Mansoorah as well as while addressing public programs at Hyderabad, Umarkot, Thar parker, Mirpur Khas, Gwadar, Turbat and Khushab districts here on Sunday.
He further said that solution to political crises lies with the political solutions, adding Anti-Corruption Department and police operation at the former chief minister Punjab Chaudhry Parvez Elahi’s residence is a clear state oppression; however, he termed the dialogue between the government and the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) a good development. He advised the political leadership to face the cases and state oppression with fortitude and forbearance.
He noted that the Jamaat-e-Islami put forth suggestions in front of the national leadership to sort out the political crisis with the spirit of national enthusiasm and briefed the quarters concerned about the expected conspiracies to be hatched to derail political dialogue process but they would have to demonstrate courage and fortitude to handle the situation as solution to political matters lies only within the political solutions.
Addressing an eid millan event hosted by social leader Qadir Shakeel at Gulberg, Lahore, Liaqat Baloch said that international establishment tends to destabilize Pakistan; occupy its nuclear capability; trap it in financial crisis and push back Pakistan from its justified position on Occupied Kashmir and Palestine disputes which is why holding general elections and internal stability is need of hour.
Liaqat Baloch advised the ruling classes to abstain from ego, stubbornness, personal interests and government’s perks and privileges as engineered popularity and polarization were looming threats to national existence. He further said that Jamaat-e-Islami will take the country out of crisis with the support of public and advised the masses to exercise their right to franchise in favour of sincere and capable representatives of Jamaat-e-Islami. He also stressed upon the quarters concerned to immediately release chief of ‘Gwadar’s Haq Do Tehreek’ Maulana Hidayatur Rehman Baloch.
