Conflict b/w Parliament, judiciary alongside public resistance being confronted by civil military establishments created a dangerous situation for national security: Liaqat Baloch
ISLAMABAD, May 16 (SABAH): Naib Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Liaqat Baloch has said that the confrontation between Parliament and judiciary alongside public resistance being confronted by civil military establishments has created a dangerous critical situation for national security.
While expressing his views at political electoral consultative meeting at Islamabad here on Monday, Liaqat Baloch advised powerful segments of the country to stay away from vanity and added that obeying law and political norms is a cause of respect for each and everyone. He added that unwise use of power brings collective destruction.
Moreover, he advised the political leadership, those who are responsible for courts related issues and civil and military establishment should revisit their line of actions and mechanism.
Liaqat Baloch said that for bringing their favourite leaders in power, state institutions wasted 75 years of country on Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, Benazir Bhutto and Imran khan. He deplored that continuity of mistakes has become a threat for national security and added such law violators must be crushed.
He said the real issue is to take the country out of political, electoral and judicial crisis and added that they have continuously presenting the guidelines on the matter while leaving ego and obstinacy.
Liaqat Baloch urged upon developing a consensus on a date for holding general elections in 2023. He suggested CJP for full court formation for sorting out present court related conflicts.
