Commonwealth Secretary-General Patricia Scotland expresses commitment to support young entrepreneurs
ISLAMABAD, July 31 (SABAH): Commonwealth Secretary-General Patricia Scotland has expressed the commitment to supporting young entrepreneurs and innovators.
Addressing the Young Entrepreneurs Awards distribution ceremony in Islamabad, she recognized Pakistani young entrepreneurs as the valuable contributors to the economic growth and progress of the country.
Patricia Scotland also appreciated the unwavering dedication of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif-led government to ensure that Pakistan’s young people have the opportunity, resources and support they need to thrive.
The Commonwealth Secretary-General said she is proud to see young Pakistanis harnessing the power of technology, embracing creativity and fostering a culture of entrepreneurs which is essential for building a prosperous future for all.
On the occasion, Commonwealth Secretary-General, along with Chairman Prime Minister’s Youth Programme Rana Mashhood Ahmad, distributed awards among the young entrepreneurs.
Later, Commonwealth Secretary-General Patricia Scotland also addressed the students of the National University of Science and Technology, Islamabad.
She said generous support is being provided to the talented young people under the Commonwealth Youth programme. He said equal opportunities should be ensured to students to grow in every sector.
