CNS Amjad Khan Niazi calls on PM Shahbaz Sharif

ISLAMABAD, August 01 (SABAH): Chief of Naval Staff Amjad Khan Niazi called on Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif on Tuesday.

In the meeting, a detailed discussion on professional matters related to Pakistan Navy was held. In the meeting, the Chief of Naval Staff informed the Prime Minister about the strategy of preparing weapons and warships for the Pakistan Navy at the local level.

The Naval Chief also informed about the ongoing steps to make Pakistan self-sufficient in terms of defense and acquisition of modern technology under this strategy.
