CJP Umar Ata Bandial & other judges of SC express condolence on the assassination of Justice (retd) Muhammad Noor Meskanzai
ISLAMABAD, Oct 15 (SABAH): Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Umar Ata Bandial and other judges of the Supreme Court of Pakistan have expressed condolence on the assassination of the Justice Muhammad Noor Meskanzai, former chief justice of High Court of Balochistan and Federal Shariat Court.
“We are all deeply grieved by the shocking assassination of our dear brother Justice Muhammad Noor Meskanzai, former Chief Justice of the High Court of Balochistan and of the Federal Shariat Court. As a victim in a terrorist attack on a mosque he has attained the darjat of a Shaheed” the CJP and other judges of the SC said in a statement issued on Saturday.
The statement said “May Almighty Allah bless his soul with the highest place in Jannat ul Firdaus and grant the bereaved members of his family, Chief Justices and Judges of the High Court of Balochistan and of the Federal Shariat Court, office bearers and members of the Balochistan High Court Bar Association and Bar Councils as well as the legal fraternity of the Province of Balochistan strength and fortitude to bear this irreparable loss. Ameen”.
“He was a devoted son of the soil, a great patriot, an honest, capable and gracious Judge and a pious human being. His passing has left us with unforgettable memories that are a cherishable treasure in our lives” the CJP and judges and apex court said.
