CJP should issue verdict on appeal against decision on Qadiani Mobarak Sani Case: Liaqat Baloch
LAHORE, May 7 (SABAH): Naib Emir Jamaat-e-Islami and Secretary General Milli Yekjehti Council Liaqat Baloch has demanded of Chief Justice Supreme Court of Pakistan to issue verdict on review petition of illegal, unconstitutional and anti Quran and Sunnah’s decision in Qadiani Mobarak Sani Case.
He said that Muslims are worried due to delay in taking back anti-Sharia decision. Meeting of Markazi Majlis-e-Aama of Milli Yekjehti Council has been convened on May 11, 2024 in Islamabad. A delegation of International Majlis-e-Tahafuz-e-Khatam Nabuwat held meeting with Liaqat Baloch and invited him in All Parties Meeting on May 8.
While talking to delegation of central leadership of Kisan Board and Kissan Ittihad President Khalid Khokhar, Liaqat Baloch said that farmers and tenants worked hard across the country which resulted in good production of wheat of 3 crore ton but the government, trade mafia and bureaucracy destroyed the farmers and the agriculture. He said all the governments of provinces issued government rate for purchase of wheat. He said the government imported wheat which is why it is not purchasing wheat at the government rate, adding mafias are purchasing wheat at the least rate.
He said that federal and provincial governments intentionally delaying the decision of buying wheat, adding they should buy wheat at the government rate as only in this way, relief could be provided to the farmers. He said the federal, Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa governments should fulfill their target of buying 78 lac ton wheat otherwise agriculture and farmers would be destroyed. He said the government would also have to face a big public resistance.
Liaqat Baloch said that ending farmers protest with state’s power will bring another destruction, adding the rulers should care about the farmers. He said the struggle of bringing foreign investment in the country and instability both will not prove fruitful.
