CJP Qazi Faez Isa appoints District & Sessions Judge Okara Ms. Jazeela Aslam as Registrar SC
ISLAMABAD, Sep 17 (SABAH): Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Qazi Faez Isa has appointed District and Sessions Judge Okara Ms. Jazeela Aslam as Registrar Supreme Court of Pakistan for the term of three years. On the other hand Dr. Muhammad Mushtaq Ahmed has been appointed Secretary to Chief Justice of Pakistan and Abdul Sadiq has been appointed as Staff Officer to Chief Justice of Pakistan. Both appointments have been made till the end of the tenure of Qazi Faez Isa as Chief Justice of Pakistan on 24th October 2024.
According to the notification issued by the Registrar Lahore High Court Sheikh Khalid Bashir, pursuant to Hon’ble Supreme Court of Pakistan, Islamabad letter No.F.AR(Admn).2023-SCA dated 17 September, 2023, the Hon’ble Chief Justice and Judges are pleased to place the services of Ms. Jazeela Aslam, District & Sessions Judge, Okara, in the public interest, with immediate effect, at the disposal of that Court, for her posting as Registrar, Supreme Court of Pakistan, on deputation basis of a period of three years.
Unless directed otherwise, the officer shall stand repatriated to this Court on completion of three years. The notification of the release of Ms. Jazeela Aslam from Punjab judiciary to Supreme Court of Pakistan has been issued with the approval of Chief Justice Lahore High Court Justice Muhammad Ameer Bhatti on Sunday.
The copies of the notification have been sent to Registrar Supreme Court of Pakistan, Registrar Federal Shariat Court, Islamabad, Registrar Islamabad High Court, Secretary Ministry of Law and Justice, Islamabad, Secretary Law and Justice Commission Government of Pakistan, Islamabad, Chief Secretary Punjab, Director General Federal Judicial Academy, Islamabad, Secretary Election Commission of Pakistan, Islamabad, Accountant General Pakistan Revenues, Islamabad and other concerned officials.
