Chief Executive of ‘SABAH’ Professor Tayyab Gulzar passes away in Lahore


LAHORE, Mar 01 (SABAH): Chief Executive of South Asian Broadcasting Agency (SABAH) Professor Tayyab Gulzar passed away in Lahore on Tuesday. His funeral prayer will be offered today night at 9:00 PM in Lahore.

The funeral prayer will be offered at the ground situated in front of his house at Abdul Sattar Edhi Road in Punjab University Town Lahore and will be laid to rest there. Professor Tayyab Gulzar was ill for the some time. He passed away today at a private hospital in Lahore.

He performed duties at the English department of Punjab University. He also performed duties in the foreign affairs department of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan during era of late Emir JI Qazi Hussain Ahmed.

Later on Professor Tayyab Gulzar established a first university for the women in Islamabad named WISH Institute. Thousands of girls secured education from WISH Institute. He was also the Chief Executive of SABAH News. Professor Tayyab Gulzar was resident of Lahore.
