Chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjrani expresses appreciation for the ongoing humanitarian efforts of AKFED
ISLAMABAD, Jan 18 (SABAH): A distinguished delegation, led by Muhamed Eboo, Representative of His Highness Prince Agha Khan in Canada, called on Chairman Senate of Pakistan, Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani at Parliament House on Thursday.
The delegation included esteemed members such as Ali Allana, Director for Agha Khan Fund for Economic Development (AKFED), Moez Rajwani, Samir Manji, Executive Officer, Council for Canada, Shakeel Hirji, Chairman of FOCUS – Canada, Taleeb Farouk Noormohamed, Member of Parliament of Canada, and Nizar Noor Mohammed Mewawalla, President of the Council for Pakistan.
The discussions centered around key areas of mutual interest, including investment, tourism, and collaboration across various sectors. Acknowledging the commendable work of AKFED, the Chairman Senate expressed appreciation for the ongoing humanitarian efforts. Furthermore, the employment generation initiatives through investment were lauded.
Particular emphasis was placed on the vast potential in Balochistan for tourism and investment, with special attention to Gwadar emerging as a port with significant prospects for attracting tourism.
To honor the delegation, Chairman Senate hosted a luncheon, underscoring the importance of fostering strong ties and collaboration.
