Certificates, sewing machines distributed among students who completed skill development course under Alkhidmat Women Wing Trust


LAHORE, June 30 (SABAH): Certificates and sewing machines were distributed among 50 more female students who completed skill development course under Alkhidmat Women Wing Trust Lahore.

In addition to the students who completed the course, vocational teachers and helpers from all the centers of Alkhidmat, Rukhsana Arshad, Yasmin Saleem, Samira Apa, Talat Khan, and Farida Majeed specially participated. Apart from distribution of certificates, sewing machines were also given as gifts so that the female students who received technical education could start their jobs regularly.

 

On this occasion, the experts also gave special lectures on how and in which ways they can get employment in practical life. In the ceremony, the designs and clothes made by the students’ hands were also exhibited, which were highly appreciated by the guests. Speaking, Rukhsana Arshad and other speakers said that thousands of women under Alkhidmat Women Wing are playing an important role in supporting their families after completing technical training and short courses.

They said that in order to end unemployment in the country, the acquisition of technical education should be promoted and the youth should be educated on a large scale so that they can not only help themselves and get employment in various industries, but also avoid drugs and other evils. They said that Alkhidmat is also equipping the prisoners with different types of technical education in the prisons so that when they come out of the prison, they can earn their living with dignity. Vocational teachers and helpers were also given cash prizes on this occasion and food was distributed among the participants at the end of the event.
