CEO ARY Digital Network Salman Iqbal’s elder daughter Sumaiya Salman passes away in Dubai

DUBAI/ISLAMABAD, May 05 (SABAH): The elder daughter of President and CEO ARY Digital Network Salman Iqbal passed away in Dubai on Friday.

The funeral prayers and burial of Sumaiya Salman will take place in Dubai today (Saturday).

Meanwhile the ARY family has requested prayers from the public for the eternal peace of the departed soul.

Meanwhile President Dr. Arif Alvi, Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, Federal Ministers Ahsan Iqbal Chaudhry, Marriyum Aurangzeb and Shazia Atta Marri have expressed deep grief and sorrow on the death of Salman Iqbal’s elder daughter Sumaiya Salman.

President Dr Arif Alvi in a statement issued on twitter on Friday said that he was deeply saddened to hear about the passing of ARY’s Salman Iqbal’s daughter. My heartfelt condolences and prayers are with the family during this difficult time, he said.

PM Shehbaz Sharif in a statement issued on twitter on Friday said “there are no words to express the grief I felt when I learned about Salman Iqbal’s daughter, Samaya Salman’s sudden passing away at a young age. May Allah provide strength to Salman Iqbal and his family to bear her loss! To Allah we belong and to Allah we shall return. May Allah be merciful to the departed soul and give her place in Jannah!”.

Minister for Planning, Development and Special Initiatives Ahsan Iqbal Chaudhry wrote on twitter on Friday “My heartfelt condolences on sudden passing away of Sumaya Salman, daughter of @Salman ARY”

“May Allah provide the family strength and patience to bear this tragedy. May Allah shower on her soul His Blessings. Ameen!” Ahsan Iqbal wrote.

Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb wrote on twitter on Friday “Shocked grieved and devastated on sudden passing away of Sumaya Salman, daughter of @Salman_ARY”. “ It is an unimaginable loss and words seem inadequate to express my feelings. May Allah provide the family strength and comfort to cope with this tragedy. May Allah grant her the highest place in Jannah. Amen” she wrote.

Federal Minister for Poverty Alleviation and Social Safety Shazia Atta Marri wrote on twitter on Friday ”Shocked to learn about this tragic news! Irreparable loss for a parent. May Allah Almighty rest her soul in eternal peace and grant strength & solace to @Salman_ARY and his family – Aameen”.
