Budget has once again put a burden on salaried class: Hafiz Naeemur Rehman
LAHORE, June 13 (SABAH): Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Hafiz Naeemur Rehman, while reacting to the budget, has said that the budget has once again put a burden on the salaried class, there is no good news for employees, laborers and deprived classes, private companies may or may not increase the salaries but the income tax will increase. He said the Finance Minister’s claims of reduction in inflation are contrary to ground realities. After all, why are the big landlords not brought into the tax net, he questioned.
Hafiz Naeemur Rehman said in a statement on Social Media X that unfortunately every ruling party has had the same policy to break the back of the middle class and save the elite, this time the IMF’s slavery document was also called the budget.
He said the rulers do not have the courage to negotiate with the IMF keeping national interests in mind, the fact is that there are imperialist representatives sitting on both sides of the table, the economy did not improve with the 23 programs taken from the IMF, even with the 24th things are not going well.
Finance ministers are imported into the country. He demanded that expensive electricity contracts are cruel and anti-people and should be reviewed.
