SHEIKHUPURA, July 20 (SABAH): Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Sirajul Haq has noted that Britishers departed; however, the system introduced by them as well as the guards have been ruling the country till-date even after the passage of 75 years.

While addressing workers convention in Safdarabad, Sheikhupura here on Thursday, Sirajul Haq said that the rulers have defaced the country which is obvious that Pakistani passport has been termed forth worst passport after those of Iraq, Syria and Afghanistan. He added that people were being killed on daily basis in KPK and Balochistan.

“A competition among anarchy, inflation, corruption and unemployment was afoot. Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) did not resolve even a single problem of the masses,” he deplored.

He further said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) wasted 3.75 years of the nation, adding current as well as the past governments kept on running the country’s system on the basis of falsehood.

Sirajul Haq said that assemblies’ tenure was going to end on August 12 and added, “I want people should hold accountable to those who promised to provide, food, cloth and shelter as well as converting the country into ‘Asian Tiger’, during the upcoming general elections in the country.”

Emir Jamaat-e-Islami claimed that economy of the country could not be put on the right direction without abolishing the interest system and deplored that Pakistan economic system was based on Riba Act of 1839 introduced by English.

He noted that interest is tantamount to waging a war against Allah Almighty (SWT), and added though PDM chief is a religious personality but over here is highest rate of interest regarding South Asia.

Emir Jamaat-e-Islami maintained that after coming into power they would at first put an end to the system of interest and individual based, agriculture and industrial loans would be given to the masses without imposing any interest. He said that Jamaat-e-Islami would introduce a system based the Holy Quran while youth would be provided with jobs and agriculture lands. He added that after coming into power, Jamaat-e-Islami will introduce free of cost education to the masses.
