‘Brainstorming Session’ held under Alkhidmat to develop compatibility of ‘Alkhidmat Education Program’ with contemporary needs

LAHORE, July 12 (SABAH): A ‘Brainstorming Session’ was held under the auspices of Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan for developing compatibility of ‘Alkhidmat Education Program’ with the contemporary requirements.

President Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan Prof. Dr. Hafeezur Rehman, Secretary General Syed Waqas Jafri, National Director Education Ahmad Jibran Bloch, Executive Director Ghazali Education Trust Syed Aamir Mahmood, General Manager Read Foundation Muhammad Aslam Hijazi, Board Member Dr. Abdur Rauf, President Baithak School Network Aniqa, Member of Usman Public School Trust Committee Munim Zafar and other personalities relating to field of education participated in the session.

During the event, the heads highlighted the services of their organisations in the field of education and presented their suggestions to jointly work in this field.

Addressing on the occasion, Syed Waqas Jafri said that motif behind conducting this event was to have information with regard to educational services of organisations, acceptability, comprehending challenges of education field and making joint efforts for sorting out those issues.

He further said that the goal was also to take benefit from the experiments of brother organisations and building a state-of-the-art education system as well as curriculum for Alkhidmat’s Aghosh Homes. He added there was a need of establishing joint scholarships [schemes] and universities for welfare of male and female students as well as for the sake of development of education.

On the occasion, Prof. Dr. Hafeezur Rehman noted that under Alkhidmat Foundation, 54 schools, 56 child protection centres and 83 skill development centres were providing services whereas 4,879 male and female students were being given Alfalah Scholarships with which over 81,885 students were benefitting.

He further remarked that education is a backbone for the development of every society, saying they value the services of all institutions which were working in the field of education that is why this get-together and steps taken in connection with promoting education were welcoming.

Prof. Dr. Hafeezur Rehman was of the view that they could provide better and bright future to new generations only through education. For this to take place, he said, “We need to make joint efforts.”
