Better infrastructure & access play a vital role in promoting regional tourism: Saqib Rafiq


RAWALPINDI, Jan 01 (SABAH): The Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) President Saqib Rafiq has said that tourism has now become an industry. Many areas of Pakistan are rich in beauty. Better infrastructure and access play a vital role in promoting regional tourism. He said that the information should be made public through digital libraries.

Speaking at the inauguration of “Adam & E Travels”, a local business center in Rawalpindi, President Chamber Saqib Rafiq said that the government should improve infrastructure for the convenience and ease of tourists across the country. Indeed, tourism is a sector through which the positive image of Pakistan can be highlighted, he added.

Gilgit-Baltistan Tourism Minister along with RCCI Vice President Faisal Shahzad, Chairman SM Group of Companies, Waseem Riaz Malik, Mukhtar Ahmed CEO, Directors Adnan Mukhtar, Rashid Minhas, Kamran Zafar and General Manager Umar Tariq and other businessmen were present in the opening ceremony.
