LAHORE, June 14 (SABAH): Secretary General Jamaat-e-Islami Women Wing Dr. Hamira Tariq has said that the basic responsibility of a welfare government is to protect the rights of the people and defend the ideological boundaries of the state. She was addressing a one-day session of Lahore district workers in Mansoora.
She said that those who work for the sake of Allah will be rewarded with many blessings. These are the people who are at the forefront of the struggle to establish the divine system. She added that a part of the Ummah will enter paradise without accountability, including those who strive to establish Allah’s system in the world.
Outlining the roadmap for change, she said that the worker’s job is to become a voter, and this voter is actually an ideological worker and a member of Jamaat-e-Islami.
Meanwhile Deputy Secretary General Samina Saeed said that the Muslim Ummah is facing numerous challenges, and to overcome them, global Islamic unity is urgently needed. Just as Muslims united to struggle for the creation of our beloved country, today we need the same unity to overcome the crises facing our nation.”
Dr. Samina Saeed has emphasized the importance of Muslim unity in the face of various challenges. She has draw a parallel between the unity and collective effort that led to the creation of Pakistan and the need for similar unity to address the current crises facing the country.
Dr. Samia Raheel Qazi said that our movement’s foundation is strong ideology, on which the edifice of our collective efforts is built. Our mission and vision have clear objectives, and our efforts are focused on reforming the individual and the government.
Other speakers also addressed the gathering, emphasizing the importance of a strong ideology and the need for unity and collective effort to achieve the party’s goals.
The event was also attended by Naib Nazima District Rabea Aamir, Naib Nazimaat districts Ayesha-tul-Razia, Tayyaba Akram, Maria Masood, and other party workers.
