Barkhan incident is extremely heart breaking: Samina Ahsaan

ISLAMABAD, Feb 23 (SABAH): Nazima North Punjab Jamaat-e-Islami Women Wing Samina Ahsaan has said that the Barkhan incident is extremely heart breaking and the Government should impose exemplary punishment on the culprits after transparent probe in the matter.

In a joint press release Samina Ehsaan, Nazima North Punjab Women Wing JI and Nusrat Naheed, President JI Women Wing Islamabad stated that brutal murder of three persons of same family in Barakh district Balochistan is a senseless incident and government should provide justice to affected family after thorough investigation in the matter.

The two ladies representing Jamaat-e-Islami gave this joint statement while lamenting upon the tyrannical murder of wife and two sons of Khan Muhammad Marri belonging to Balochistan’s Kohlu area. They stated that Pakistan is an Islamic Democratic Republic but the Rulers despite being Muslims have forsaken all norms of humanity. They said that the public should learn from this incident and elect honest and trustworthy leadership so that there is peace in the country.

Samina Ehsaan said that those politicians who can not guarantee security of their people should be removed from their positions so that those politicians before they voice their political slogans and present themselves as public servants may consider themselves accountable for life and security of the people they wish to represent.

Nusrat Naheed said that the country is sinking deeply in issues of economic instability as well as insecurity due to ruling segments objectives of making selfish gains. She also appealed vehemently to federal and provincial governments to redress grievances of the aggrieved and levy admonitory punishments upon accused culprits.
