Bangladesh-Pakistan Bilateral Relations: A New Era of Cooperation


ISLAMABAD, Jan 31 (SABAH): A joint seminar by ESaR and Riphah University in Islamabad explored ways to strengthen ties between Bangladesh and Pakistan.

Distinguished speakers include Iqbal Husain Khan, High Commissioner of Bangladesh in Islamabad. He spoke about lot many points to establish strong and sustainable relations between the two nations.

Dr. Anis Ahmad: Renowned expert, highlighted the significance of education and research collaborations. Syed Belal, President ESaR emphasized the importance of people-to-people connections and cultural exchange. Lt. Gen (retd) Naeem Lodhi offered valuable insights on defense cooperation and regional security. Ambassador Moaazzam Khan shared insightful perspectives on diplomatic relations and cooperation opportunities. Naeem Anwar discussed tariff related matters to improve business benefits two countries.

Dr. Rashid Aftab discussed potential areas of cooperation in trade, technology, and sustainable development.

The seminar proposed establishing think tanks and a calamity fund to support each other during natural disasters. The focus is on prioritizing the welfare and opportunities of the people, especially the youth.

This development comes as Bangladesh and Pakistan are working to restart direct flights and strengthen diplomatic ties after decades of historical tension.
