‘Azadi Ke Rang Alkhidmat Ke Sang’, Alkhidmat Foundation Women Wing Trust distributes 200 hygiene kits among the prisoners of Kot Lakhpat Jail
LAHORE, Aug 15 (SABAH): ”Azadi Ke Rang Alkhidmat Ke Sang”, Alkhidmat Foundation Women Wing has distributed 200 gifts of hygiene kits among the prisoners of Kot Lakhpat Jail.
According to details, on the occasion of 76th Independence Day of Pakistan, Vice President Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan Zikrullah Mujahid accompanied by Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Lahore Ziauddin Ansari visited Kot Lakhpat Jail and heartened the prisoners of the jail and passed sometime with them in view of their betterment. On this occasion Alkhidmat Foundation Women Wing Trust distributed 200 gifts of hygiene kits among the prisoners of the jail.
Personnel of jail administration were also present on the occasion. Jail Superintendent thanked Alkhidmat Foundation Women Wing Trust for this act and added the way Alkhidmat Foundation serving the society deserves appreciation.
Zikrullah Mujahid said that Alkhidmat Foundation was not only serving in the country but was also providing its services to humanity outside of the country. He added a number of projects of Alkhidmat Foundation were ongoing in the country.
He further stressed upon the need of introducing reform programs for the prisoners in jails so that they could play their constructive role in the society after being released from the jails.
