Attributing one day not enough for resolution of problems & provision of rights to women: Alkhidmat Foundation Women Wing Trust Lahore
LAHORE, Mar 07 (SABAH): Alkhidmat Foundation Women Wing Trust Lahore has said that attributing only one day to women is not enough for the resolution of problems and provision of rights to women, adding that for this purpose we have to create aware about the fulfillments of the rights according to the Islamic system of life. The speakers said that we have to create vigor in the nation about the service of the humanity and take towards self reliance system so that we could perform positive role being a united nation.
This was stated by the speakers while addressing the roundtable dialogue on the occasion of the International Women’s Day being observed today (Tuesday), organized by Alkhidmat Foundation Women Wing Lahore. The dialogue was participated by representatives of the different welfare organizations including Rubina Shakeel, Umme Kulsoom, Farhat Aslam, Fakhira, Tasneem Kausar, Adeeba and Alkhidmat Foundation Women Wing Trust responsible Saba Saqib, Saima Shabbir, Zar Afshan Farheen and Uzma Muhammad Ali Talat.
The speakers said that the thousands of women are working vigorously for the resolution of the problems of women and ensuring their rights. The speakers said that while attributing one day for women and while raising slogans and carrying out march the rights could not be ensured to women, adding that the continuous struggle is required for this purpose. The speakers said that Islam is the only religion, which not only provided rights to the women but also ensured protection for the women.
The speakers said that these goals could only be achieved while creating awareness about the Islamic system of life.
