Aseefa Bhutto Zardari takes oath as Member National Assembly
ISLAMABAD, April 15 (SABAH): National Assembly began its session at the Parliament House in Islamabad on Monday with Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq in the chair.
The house offered fateha for those who died in different incidents including acts of terrorism and recent rains in the country as well as the martyred Palestinians.
Aseefa Bhutto Zardari, the youngest daughter of President Asif Ali Zardari and late former prime minister Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto, has taken oath as Member of National Assembly. Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq administered the oath to her. Chairman Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari was also present on the occasion.
Aseefa Bhutto Zardari was elected unopposed from NA-207 Shaheed Benazirabad, the seat vacated by President Asif Ali Zardari. The session has now been prorogued.
