Art Exhibition on World Teachers Day pays tribute to Teachers
RAWALPINDI, Oct 05 (SABAH): AFAQ, in collaboration with the SOS Foundation, hosted an inspiring Art Competition at the Rawalpindi Arts Council on World Teachers Day, celebrating the tireless dedication and invaluable contributions of teachers to our society.
The event was inaugurated by Saqib Rafiq, President of the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, who addressed the audience with admiration for the artistic creations of students and heartfelt appreciation for the unwavering commitment of teachers in nation-building.
Students from numerous schools across the twin cities enthusiastically participated in the competition, showcasing their creative and artistic talents as a way to express their gratitude towards their educators.
The closing ceremony was graced by Dr. Syed Kaleem Imam as the Chief Guest, who distributed prizes to the top-performing students. Dr. Imam, in his address, expressed deep respect not only for the teachers but also for the students who, through their vibrant artworks, conveyed their heartfelt gratitude to their mentors.
Regional head of AFAQ, Numair Hassan Madni, along with Nishat Fatima, Dr. Khalid Azeem, Ahsan Hamid, and Abdus Salam, also shared their thoughts during the event, emphasizing the importance of celebrating World Teachers Day and acknowledging the pivotal role teachers play in shaping the future.
