APHC & LFK announce to provide relief assistance to people of Turkiye & Syria affected from the devastating earthquake

ISLAMABAD/SRINAGAR, Feb 07 (SABAH): All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) and Legal Forum for Kashmir (LFK) have decided to provide relief assistance to the people of Turkiye and Syria affected from the devastating earthquake of Monday.

On Tuesday in an extraordinary meeting the All Parties Hurriyat Conference AJK and Pakistan Chapter and Legal forum for Kashmir decided to send small relief for Turkish brother and sister affected in Earthquake.

The Executive Director of Legal Forum for Kashmir in statement issued on Tuesday said that India is destroying the houses of Kashmiris but we are fully committed to support the people of Turkiye and Syria in this hour of grief.

Earthquake in Turkiye and Syria and the resultant death and destruction is indeed worth mourning. Since Monday we have witnessed heart wrenching scenes. We are indeed with our sisters and brothers in Turkiye and Syria in this hour of grief and mourning.

Hereby on the behalf of people of Indian occupied Kashmir we announce small contributions towards rescue and relief in Turkiye and Syria. Our first batch of help is on its way to Turkiye and Syria.

Our towering leaders and teachers Shaheed Syed Ali Shah Geelani and Shaheed Ashraf Sehrai have left us with the legacy of humanity and compassion. We, the volunteers of All Parties Hurriyat Conference Jammu and Kashmir on behalf of our Incarcerated leader Masrat Alam Bhat and Shabir Ahmad Shah, our people and leadership and Legal Forum for Kashmir will be in letter and spirit with all the affected people.

We understand that this is the time when India has muzzled our voices. That India has killed and jailed our people. That Fascist Indian state is destroying our land and homes. But we continue to be committed to humanitarian duties and nothing can deter us. Please accept this help from your occupied and enslaved brothers from Indian occupied Kashmir.

We are indebted to you people as you have always kept us in our prayers and pledged support for us in resisting Indian occupation.
We therefore are duty bound to help you in this hour of grief and mourning. May Allah be pleased with you! May Allah make it easy for you and us! Aameen.
