APHC-AJK chapter strongly denounces BJP-backed panel & newly launched Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Front

ISLAMABAD, Feb 27 (SABAH): The All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter has strongly denounced the BJP-backed panel and the newly launched Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Front (JDF), stating that Jama’at-e-Islami in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) has no association with these entities.

APHC-AJK Convenor Ghulam Muhammad Safi, in a statement issued to the press, affirmed that Jama’at-e-Islami has categorically disowned the BJP-backed panel and reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to its core principles and ideology. He further clarified that Jama’at-e-Islami has no direct or indirect involvement in the activities, decisions, or political ambitions of the panel and its affiliated party.

Ghulam Muhammad Safi urged the freedom-loving people of IIOJK to remain vigilant against divisive forces and not fall prey to deceptive tactics aimed at misleading the Kashmiri resistance movement. He emphasized that such political maneuvers are part of India’s larger strategy to create confusion and weaken the ongoing struggle for self-determination.

He reiterated his call for unity among Kashmiris and stressed that the people of Jammu and Kashmir must remain steadfast in their legitimate demand for freedom from Indian occupation.
