Another relief flight from UAE received at PAF base, Lahore

LAHORE, Sep 04 (SABAH): In continuation of humanitarian air bridge established between Pakistan and UAE, relief flight scheduled for Sunday was received at PAF base, Lahore, Pakistan

According to a statement issued by Foreign Office Spokesperson Asim Iftikhar Ahmad, Prime Minister of Pakistan Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif thanked the representatives of UAE for their timely and valuable assistance for the people of Pakistan in times of grave crisis.

Minister Industries Punjab Government Mian Aslam Iqbal Charge de Affairs of UAE Embassy, Rashid Al Ali accompanied by diplomats of UAE Embassy along with the representatives of Ministry of Foreign Affairs and NDMA were present to receive the aircraft Carrying relief goods

In past 2 weeks, 14 of such flights from UAE have landed in Pakistan carrying food, medical supplies and tents etc.

FO spokesperson said that Pakistan is grateful to the government and people of UAE for showing solidarity and support in this hour of need.
