Another Covid-19 wave beginning: Asad Umar warns

ISLAMABAD, Jan 02 (SABAH): Minister for Planning, Development and Special Initiatives Asad Umar warned on Sunday that clear evidence now suggests the beginning of another coronavirus wave, which was being expected from last few weeks.

Asad Umar, who also heads National Command and Operation Center (NCOC), said that genome sequencing shows rising proportion of omicron cases in country particularly in Karachi.

The minister stressed that wearing a mask is the best protection.
