An urgent meeting of Muslim rulers & military chiefs should be called on situation in Gaza: Hafiz Naeemur Rehman

ISLAMABAD, Oct 7 (SABAH): Emir Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Engineer Hafiz Naeemur Rehman has said that an urgent meeting of Muslim rulers and military chiefs should be called against the Israeli aggression on Palestine and a decisive role should be played to stop the massacre of innocent Palestinians.

On the completion of one year of Israeli aggression on Palestine, Hafiz Naeemur Rehman was addressing the Palestine Solidarity Day March at Melody Market Islamabad on Monday. Naib Emir JI Pakistan Mian Muhammad Aslam, Iqbal Khan, District Emir Engineer Nasrullah Randhawa and other leaders were also present. Along with men, women and children also participated in the rally in large numbers.

Hafiz Naeemur Rehman said that during the last one year, Palestinians have shown extraordinary persistence against Israeli aggression. He said the entire Pakistani nation is on the streets today to express solidarity with the Palestinians. Paying tribute to the nation, he said that we were on the streets for people’s rights, but on the issue of Gaza, we contacted government and the opposition and all walks of life.

In this connection, we will also participate in the all-party conference at the Prime Minister’s House. He said that since the Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the entire Pakistani nation is in favour of legitimate position of Palestine and the illegitimate state of Israel. One hundred thousand Palestinians were martyred, but the United Nations and the OIC did not play a role in saving them. On the other side Hamas playing its role in this regard, he added.

He further said that America and West are behind the illegitimate state of Israel, which is giving it arms, adding India is also behind Israel. He said the presidential elections are going to be held in America while no one is talking about peace in the campaign for the presidential election, adding both Donald Trump and Kamala Harris are making more declarations and actions to help Zionism.

He said the people of the United States, who claim to be a democratic country, should also examine their rulers. The United States and Britain destroyed Iraq on baseless claims and invaded Afghanistan. Emir Jamaat-e-Islami said at the time of the establishment of Pakistan, people had migrated to Pakistan, but they worked with passion. At that time, the Quaid-e-Azam called Israel the illegitimate child of the West.

Hafiz Naeemur Rehman said that today the rulers are retreating from Palestine and Kashmir issues using the excuse of poor economy. He asked the people to unite and don’t let the rulers take the escape route, adding Muslim rulers should wake up and take the path of honor and work on Palestine and Kashmir and other issues according to the aspirations of the Ummah.
