Ameerul Azim strongly condemns martyrdom of railways’ employee at the hands of dacoits near Mirpur Mathelo


LAHORE, March 01 (SABAH): While expressing condolence over the martyrdom of an employee of Pakistan Railways deployed on security duties of a railway line near Mirpur Mathelo at the hands of dacoits, Secretary General Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Ameerul Azim on Wednesday condemned the incident in the strongest possible terms.

In a statement issued from Mansoorah, Ameerul Azim said the employees deployed on the security duties of the railway lines were sometimes abducted or killed whereas sometimes cash was snatched from them, urging the government to take the notice of the issue by taking security measures. He also demanded of the government to announce special financial assistance for the family members of the martyr.

He issued directions to the Central President of Pakistan Railways Prem Union CBA, Sheikh Muhammad Anwar to pay a visit to the martyr home for helping out in all his burial formalities. He also demanded of the government and law enforcement agencies to arrest the killers of Haider Ali and punish them accordingly.
