Ameerul Azim congratulates President of Maldives Mohamed Muizzu on success of his party in parliamentary elections

LAHORE, April 23 (SABAH): Secretary General Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Ameerul Azim has congratulated President of Maldives Mohamed Muizzu on success of his party in parliamentary elections and expressed best wishes for him.

In a statement issued from Mansoorah on Tuesday, Ameerul Azim said that after success of President of Maldives Mohamed Muizzu in presidential elections, historic success of Peoples National Congress in parliamentary elections held on Sunday manifests that people of Maldives wanted to get rid of Indian supremacy and stand by President Mohamed Muizzu.

He said all the countries of the region are against India’s supremacy and dominion, adding while taking courageous stance Mohamed Muizzu has ended Indian dominion on Maldives. He said that Jamaat-e-Islami and Pakistani masses pray for better future of Maldives.

Ameerul Azim further said that all the countries of South Asia should support the right of self-determination of Kashmiris while taking up voice against Indian cruel and barbaric acts. He also stressed upon the durable relations between Maldives and Pakistan.
